NOTICES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
>> Summer Picnic.... Don't think of it as the end of the
summer, think of it as an opportunity to get together with neighbors and
friends. Come out and join us for the LLV Summer Picnic on Saturday, August
28th. The festivities begin around 3pm and with better weather this year
should run well into the evening. The main course and beverages will be
provided. If you have a favorite picnic recipe, bring out a dish to share. Hope
to see you there!!
>> Spring Clean-Up.... Thanks to all those that came out on a
dreary day to tackle some of the tasks that will keep our neighborhood looking
good. If you would like to aid the clean-up effort, an updated list of projects
can be found HERE.
Next up, the subdivision wide garage sale.
>>LLV Super Winterfest.... Decent turnout for our first
Winterfest on a decent February afternoon. Although lacking snow, we had plenty
of ice skating, a warm bonfire and hot cocoa to the entertainment of all in
attendance. Thanks to the Gross' for hosting the event as well as the loaning of
numerous pairs of skates. Enjoy the rest of winter and here's wishing for an
early spring!

Year, New Board.... With the start of the new year, the new Board has
taken shape. We welcome Reigis Recchia and Scott Cooper as new Board members.
The 2010 calendar of LLV events has also been finalized and is shown above. Mark
your calendar for the newest event, the LLV Super Winterfest to be held
Super Bowl weekend, weather permitting. Look for more details in the near
future.

Annual Meeting.... The annual
homeowners' meeting was held with pretty much the usual attendees. New Board
members were elected and we want to thank Chip Peterson and John Heider for
their volunteer efforts over the last couple of years. More info as the make-up
of the new Board is finalized. The

To Be Kind..... Give some consideration to what your
neighbors and any visitors to Lohr Lake Village see in our neighborhood. While we all have different
tastes and styles, think about what might be considered an eyesore to your
neighbors. We all have to live together and we all want our property values to
soar. Take a little time to be kind.

Treatment.... During the summer months, LLV has an
algaecide applied to our common water areas to prevent algae growth. These
treatments occur mid-month through the spring and summer. For specific
information on the materials used in the treatment, and exact dates of
applications, please contact Scott Cooper(429-5654). |
